Warranty Overview

At Best Roofing of Winston-Salem, we stand behind the quality of our work and the materials we install. Every roof we complete includes two types of protection: Manufacturer Material Warranties and our own Workmanship Warranty.

Manufacturer Material Warranty

We follow the official warranty provided by the manufacturer of the roofing materials selected by the customer.

  • Warranty length and coverage may vary depending on the specific product line chosen (e.g., GAF, etc.).
  • Material warranties may include:
  • Defects in shingle manufacturing
  • Algae resistance (if applicable)
  • Wind rating coverage (depending on shingle type)

Best Roofing of Winston-Salem Workmanship Warranty

Coverage:

We provide a 3-Year Workmanship Warranty covering defects caused by installation errors performed by Best Roofing of Winston-Salem.
The warranty period begins on the date of project completion as listed on the final invoice.

What this Warranty Includes:

  • Correction of installation-related issues involving shingles, flashing, pipe boots, vents, and other roof components installed by our team.
  • This warranty is limited to the repair covered workmanship defects and does not include reimbursement for incidental or consequential damages.

What this Warranty Does Not Include:

  • Storm damage (wind, hail, fallen limbs, etc.)
  • Damage caused by lack of maintenance.
  • Issues resulting from other contractors, pests, or structural defects.
  • Normal wear and tear or material defects (covered by manufacturer).

Transferability

  • The 3-Year Workmanship Warranty is transferable ONE time to a new homeowner.
  • Transfer must be requested within 30 days of closing.
  • Only the remaining term transfers.

How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe you need service that is available under warranty:
  1. Contact us at 336-407-6155
  2. Provide your name, property address, date of installation, and a description of the issue.
  3. We will schedule an inspection and determine if the issue is covered under warranty.
  4. Coverage determination will be made by Best Roofing of Winston-Salem following inspection.

Notes

  • Warranty is valid only if the invoice is paid in full.
  • Warranty may be voided if unauthorized alteration or repairs have been made to the roof.
  • Routine roof maintenance is the responsibility of the homeowner and is required to maintain warranty coverage.
